Due to an apparent cyber attack, the Florence-forestnews.com website has been unavailable since Tuesday morning, April 30. The website management company has been working diligently to get their systems up and running, but online editions of the Florence Mining News/Borderland Journal and The Forest Republican will be delayed. We have been told the system should be functional by the end of today, but it could take longer. Please be patient – I will post the new issues as soon as possible.
Also, please note that none of your personal data nor passwords were obtained or even exposed to anyone. Since the website company does not process, nor even see our customer’s credit card information, that is not a concern.
